What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Charge: Drive new client acquisition in Canada, North America, and Europe, bringing Avia’s innovative platform to leading retailers.

  • Build Relationships: Create and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, from initial outreach to closing deals.

  • Master the Platform: Become an expert in Avia’s SaaS offerings, including in-store traffic analytics, demographic insights, heatmaps, dashboards, and seamless POS/eCommerce integrations.

  • Consult and Close: Lead consultative B2B sales cycles, uncovering client needs and showcasing ROI to secure six-figure+ SaaS and consulting deals.

  • Cross-Sell Solutions: Introduce Retailogists’ broader suite of solutions to maximize client impact.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with leadership, product, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate must be based in Montreal Canada

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B business development or sales in retail tech or consulting

  • Deep understanding of the retail landscape and common pain points

  • Proven track record to close six-figure + deals with retail brands

  • Strong knowledge of: POS systems, retail analytics, AI applications, eCommerce/web, and supply chain tech

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Experience with or connections in the apparel segment is a strong plus

  • Self-starter with a high tolerance for ambiguity and a bias toward action

Qualifications

  • Location: Based in Canada (Montreal preferred), with the flexibility to work remotely.

  • Experience: 2+ years in B2B business development or SaaS sales, ideally in retail tech or consulting.

  • Proven Success: A track record of closing six-figure+ deals with retail brands.

  • Retail Savvy: Deep understanding of retail challenges, POS systems, retail analytics, and commerce platforms like Shopify, Wix, or Magento.

  • Tech Know-How: Familiarity with eCommerce integrations, supply chain, and store performance tech.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional presenter and negotiator with a knack for building trust.

  • Entrepreneurial Drive: A self-starter with creativity, energy, and a passion for results.

  • Bonus Points: Experience or connections in the apparel/footwear industry.
